All steps as soon as you arrive in Canada

Your journey begins as soon as you arrive in Canada. Going through the airport and the process can be stressful. Together with our experts, we’ll make sure you know everything about the airport and going through the gate.

Montreal airport is a very big airport, before you arrive we will provide you a map and show you the way.

When you arrive, there are a few steps to go through. If this is your first time and with a temporary visa, you may need to go through the immigration office. Depending on your type of visa, the procedure may be different, we explain it to you and the necessary actions you must take.

When you enter Canada, you may be asked for a random security check and security officers may choose you. Before your flight, we’ll give you all the necessary guides, so if you’re chosen, you’ll know exactly what to do to make this process as smooth as possible.

Necessary documents: During your flight, there are documents that you must have handy and accessible in a small secure bag, which we call a travel bag. Before your flight, we provide a checklist of all the documents you may need during your flight so that you can prepare them for your flight.

Crossing the border: Canada, like all other countries, has its special rules for entering and bringing items and goods into the country. If you break these rules, you could face charges. Before preparing your luggage, we will inform you of these rules so that you can respect them and have no difficulty when crossing the border.

After successfully crossing the border, if you have used one of our relocation partners, an agent from their company will be waiting for you at the end of the corridor to welcome you to your new country.
